If you’re craving a cupcake downtown, stop in and try one of our seasonal flavors from Brownsburg area Blondies & Brownies Bakery. Cupcakes will be available starting today, September 30, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays each week. Next week we will be introducing local breads, muffins, fruit breads, cookies, and autumn cakes, fresh from Brazil’s Li’l Country Kitchen. Come by and try a sample!
We’ve been getting tons of questions about our upcoming classes. Now they’re here! Check out the ‘classes’ tab on the website at www.conspireindiana.com to register for one of our fall classes, beginning in early October. We’ll be adding classes all the time, so check back in to see what’s new. You can also register for classes at the shop… just come in and ask us for more information. Want to teach a class? Drop us a line with your ideas!
If you’ve been in the shop lately, you’ve noticed that we added a ton of awesome new makers and products when we moved into the new space. Here are just a few of the newest artists you’ll find on our shelves:
Bad Knees T’s had the awesome Greencastle chicken shirts you’ve seen around town printed just for us. We now carry a range of their cool designs, printed by hand in Bloomington on the softest t’s around.
Decorative Design Works creates colorful flasks, card holders, iphone cases, and more inspired by Art Nouveau and other retro design styles. This Indianapolis based maker also screenprints a series of Indiana Bicentennial themed shirts and mugs you will find in the shop.
Do Bats Eat Cats is our favorite chainmail jeweler. This Chicago-based maker geeks out with designs inspired by pop culture, from Game of Thrones to Dr. Who. We also carry their pride-themed rainbow jewelry.
Indiana Pickle Co. Crafts small-batch all natural pickles in local brews, from craft beer to whisky. If you love fancy Bloody Marys, you need these pickles! Come in and ask for a sample.
Stay tuned for more on the many, many new artists who are now part of Conspire. We represent 85 artists and counting!
Our partnership with Grandma’s Oven will not continue past our trial period, but we are actively working on adding local cupcakes, breads, and more that meet our high standards for quality and consciousness. Check back in for updates later in September.
Now that we’re settled in to the new space at 2 W. Washington, we’re working on setting up some super cool classes at Conspire for this fall and winter. Here are some initial ideas we’re developing:
