Small Business Saturday November 25

We hope you’ll all come out to Shop Small and support independent retailers and artists on Saturday, November 25. We’ll be open until 9 PM with tea and snacks available while you shop our selection of hand-picked gifts from local and regional artists and artisans. Conspire is full to bursting with unique items for everyone on your list this year, or you can pick up a gift card and let your friends shop for themselves. Our handmade Christmas, Hannukah and Solstice items are here!

As a special promotion of Putnam County businesses, bring in a receipt from another independent local business in Putnam County (not a chain) and receive 10% off any purchase at Conspire. Let’s keep our dollars local and grow our local community!

Featured Artist for October: Ginger Danz

We are so excited to welcome Greencastle native Ginger Danz to our collection of artists. Ginger’s colorful, quirky style and eye-catching images make us happy.  Ginger is now a resident of West Virginia, where she creates images of everything from goats and chickens to Italian landscapes. Visit her website at https://gingerdanz.com for more information. Here’s a glimpse inside Ginger’s studio and creative process:

August Featured Artist: Amy’s Funky Fibers

We’ve met some great new artists this summer! It was a pleasure to have Indianapolis fiber artist Amy Gunderson visit our town, and we’re so happy to introduce her wearable art to Greencastle.

Amy creates her unique scarves by hand painting, hand dyeing, nuno felting, shibori dyeing, and eco dyeing fibers. Her silk infinity scarves are super soft, and her funky fringed scarves are long and comfortable for layering. Our favorites are her painted silk scarves with silhouettes of leaves from Indiana woods and gardens, etched into the fibers through a technique Amy has perfected.

Come in and try one on, and peruse Amy’s Etsy shop for more styles: https://www.etsy.com/shop/amysfunkyfibers#items.

From Julia:
My massage education began at the internationally acclaimed Boulder College of Massage Therapy. It was a wonderful foundation fusing the art and science of massage. I went on to Kauai to learn Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage and then in Denver I studied Ashiatsu Bar Therapy which is actually using your feet on the back and limbs of client. I have also done continuing education in Lower Back Pain Management, Core Sync, Thai Yoga Massage, Prenatal, Migraine Management, and Sports Ortho. My goal with each massage is to draw on all of these traditions and create a massage unique to each person’s needs. I look forward to creating with and nurturing each of you!
