The holidays are upon us, and Conspire is looking pretty festive! We’re making it easier to shop local by staying open late- until 9 pm- on First Friday, December 1, and on the Saturday before Christmas Eve, December 23. We will have cookies, hot tea, samples of our Teehaus soaps made in house and our organic teas, and lots of perfect gifts for everyone on your list. Look for updates on Facebook and Instagram!
We hope you’ll all come out to Shop Small and support independent retailers and artists on Saturday, November 25. We’ll be open until 9 PM with tea and snacks available while you shop our selection of hand-picked gifts from local and regional artists and artisans. Conspire is full to bursting with unique items for everyone on your list this year, or you can pick up a gift card and let your friends shop for themselves. Our handmade Christmas, Hannukah and Solstice items are here!
As a special promotion of Putnam County businesses, bring in a receipt from another independent local business in Putnam County (not a chain) and receive 10% off any purchase at Conspire. Let’s keep our dollars local and grow our local community!
Our new gallery show is extra fun. “Toy Stories” juxtaposes barbies, legos, baby dolls, yodas and dinosaurs in modern, unexpected ways. Indianapolis artist Aaron Swartz will change your perspective on toys with this whimsical and tongue-in-cheek collection of his photography. Showing through January 1 at Conspire.

My massage education began at the internationally acclaimed Boulder College of Massage Therapy. It was a wonderful foundation fusing the art and science of massage. I went on to Kauai to learn Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage and then in Denver I studied Ashiatsu Bar Therapy which is actually using your feet on the back and limbs of client. I have also done continuing education in Lower Back Pain Management, Core Sync, Thai Yoga Massage, Prenatal, Migraine Management, and Sports Ortho. My goal with each massage is to draw on all of these traditions and create a massage unique to each person’s needs. I look forward to creating with and nurturing each of you!

Join local artist Teresa McGuire to discuss a collection of her work at Conspire.
Teresa describes the inspiration for her art as “…the love I feel for my family, my small town of Greencastle and my passion for running at DePauw University’s Nature Park. There is an overt organic aspect to most of my art that embodies my appreciation for the beauty within nature and the adoration I feel for Mother Earth. Overall my work is a profound reflection of my life’s journey.”
Refreshments and tea will be available.
Take some time over your lunch break Friday to sample ten of our favorite tea blends, and do a little last-minute shopping for your Valentine! We’ll have a variety of our favorite black, green, and herbal tea blends available for tasting amid a mad-hatter style collection of vintage teapots, cups and saucers. If you’ve been wondering about one of our house teas, this is your chance to sip!
Tea will be served Friday, February 10 from 11-1 pm at Conspire.
Are you interested in increasing resources and support for underserved communities in Greencastle? Let’s get together and make it happen! We will be discussing possibilities for a local LGBTQ+ nonprofit group, a local chapter of Standing Up for Racial Justice, and more. Please bring an open mind and your ideas for making Greencastle a more welcoming and accepting place for all. Tea and light refreshments will be available in the Conspire studio, and kids are welcome.
Thursday, January 26. 6-7 PM at Conspire.
